POLICE SERVICES Seven State Police officers are permanently stationed in Aurukun. Aurukun Police can be contacted by telephone on 0740606120. Council funds the employment of Aboriginal Community Police Officers who work in conjunction with the Queensland Police Service A Magistrates Court Circuit is held at the Court House every month.
